For our client are we looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer. You will work in a small team with an informal working atmosphere. Your duties include:

Your responsibilities

  • Designing electrical diagrams for control cabinets for cathodic protection (KB) and antifouling (AF)
  • Designing electrical systems for cathodic protection (KB) and antifouling (AF)
  • Supporting the Manager Technique with regard to the further development of electrical KB systems
  • Supporting Sales engineers with regard to the electrical KB and AF systems
  • Supporting the Head of Production and foreman regarding the electrical KB and AF systems
  • Further development and testing of the electrical KB and AF systems
  • Drafting test protocols and commissioning protocols for the electric KB and AF systems

Job requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an electrical engineering direction
  • Minimum 5 years’ of relevant work experience in machine or panel construction or in a production environment
  • Read and check electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Knowledge of programming is an advantage
  • Knowledge of data acquisition is an advantage
  • Affinity with controls and microelectronics
  • Affinity with / knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial automation and mechanical engineering
  • Affinity with shipbuilding and / or shipping is an advantage
  • In addition to operational skills, you must have administrative skills
  • Flexible attitude, stress resistant, problem solving ability and work systematic
  • Excellent command in English
