Job description

For our client we are looking for experienced qualified Field Service Engineers (NDT) with NDT Level II UT, MT, PT (PCN EN473 / ISO 9712).

After an internal training the Field Service Engineer is able to use sophisticated NDT (non-destructive testing) techniques to perform detailed inspection services to conventional storage tanks and piping systems, interpreting the results and issuing clear and concise reports.

Suitable candidates have, besides good technical knowledge, a flexible and customer-orientated attitude.
A successful candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with project managers, coworkers, clients, contractors, etc. Ensure turn times are met and always conscious of quality guidelines.
The activities mainly take place in Amsterdam and Rotterdam area, but also in other locations within the Netherlands and in Belgium.

Job requirements

  • Completed at least a Middle Technical School or higher (preferable Bachelor)
  • You have one or more NDT certificates. Preferable UT, MT and PT level II (EN 473 / ISO 9712)
  • Work experience within the technical / metal world is an advantage
  • Driver’s license
  • Living within driving distance from Rotterdam (up to 1 hour)
  • Providing a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is a condition to entry into service. The client shall bear the costs associated with the application for the certificate.
  • Knowledge of computers and MS Office
  • Ability to carry responsibility and withstand pressure
  • Good knowledge of the English language. Dutch is an advantage
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent, assured and customer-oriented attitude
